Bristol Dementia Action Alliance (BDAA) is thrilled and privileged to have been involved in the filming of a special ITV West Country News series called “Living with Dementia”, which was broadcast each evening from 22nd April at 6pm and available afterwards on ITVX.

There are an estimated 944,000+ people living with dementia in the UK, 13% of them with early onset dementia (working age). Around 5,000 people have dementia in Bristol.
BDAA was created in 2013 by Tony and Barbara Hall after Barbara’s frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. The charity raises awareness of dementia throughout the communities of Bristol and supports people living with dementia and their carers with activity groups.
