Tony and Barbara Hall founded Bristol Dementia Action Alliance in 2013 as their response to Barbara’s dementia. They wanted to ensure that people affected by dementia were supported, understood and heard throughout Bristol.
We are incredibly grateful to them both, and especially to Tony, who has led BDAA as our hands-on Chair for the past 13 years. Tony is now stepping down as Chair and will continue to support BDAA in his role as Founder and Ambassador.
As we thank Tony for his outstanding leadership, we know you will join us in giving a warm welcome to our Trustee, William O’Neill, who is stepping into the role of interim Chair for the next few months. William has supported BDAA from the very beginning through his involvement with the Bristol Brunel Lions.
BDAA continues to grow, and we are excited about the opportunities ahead as we begin our next chapter.
