The happiness of others lifts us above ourselves

Our volunteers help us to:

  • organise and run dementia awareness sessions (full training and support provided)
  • take our “Dementia Guides” to retailers/businesses and explain who BDAA is and what we are trying to achieve
  • revisit those businesses with “Purple Angel Dementia Aware” stickers
  • run stalls at events such as Dementia Awareness Days and Dementia Action Week
  • help us locally with fundraising, or help us to secure funding from organisations and businesses.

  • An open invitation to our monthly memory café – Happy Days – to join in the fun and celebrate living with dementia
  • We have several volunteer positions and always welcome any support you can give.
