Happy Days Hub

We launched our Happy Days Hub – a dementia and ageing well resource for people concerned about or affected by dementia in March 2025.

This pilot, is the first of its kind in the area.

The Hub opens on Fridays with a community café open to all, 10am-12pm at Ambition House, 2 Stiles Acres, Lawrence Weston.

BDAA and partners offer social, practical and holistic support to help people navigate the dementia journey.

An important aspect of the Hub is that it offers preventative awareness and management of conditions which can affect us as we age and could increase the risk of developing dementia. BDAA and partners educate about diabetes, high blood pressure and hearing loss as well as other conditions.

The Hub also hosts a variety of social groups including memory cafes and carer support groups.

We are delighted to be part of Ambition House which is the new community building by Ambition Lawrence Weston. This centre welcomes all of the community and hosts regular activities as well as supporting the wider community.
