Bristol Dementia Awards 2025

Bristol actor and BBC Radio presenter Joe Sims hosted the Bristol Dementia Awards for the second year running on Friday 10th October.

Joe kept everyone entertained as he shone a light on all the brilliant individuals, groups and organisations making a difference to the lives of those affected by dementia.

Joe said:

Isn’t it nice to come to an event to hear about so many amazing people who do so much… You make Bristol a better place to be and I’m proud of you all.

Local charity Bristol Dementia Action Alliance was overwhelmed by the number of nominations received. The awards highlight the fantastic work taking place across the city to raise dementia awareness and support those impacted by dementia.
