BDAAs Founder and Chair Tony Hall has written about his and Barbara’s life and their dementia journey. This moving but also practical book, gives support and comfort for others on a similar journey.

For those who knew Barbara in the later stages of her dementia journey, this is a wonderful way to have a glimpse into her life and strength as a younger woman.

Tony and Barbara have certainly not had an easy life, at any stage, but their love and determination to thrive shines through. Together, they founded Bristol Dementia Action Alliance as their way of fighting dementia. BDAA continues today as Barbara’s wonderful legacy.

BDAA sells A bucketful of Patience for £12 at events and activities or you can email us on office@bdaa.org.uk to arrange to collect a copy.

Alternatively, you can order direct from Bristol Books: https://www.bristolbooks.org/shop/abucketfulofpatience

All profits go to BDAA.
