Supporter emails – August 2021

We’re really excited to announce that we have a date in the diary for a Young Onset Dementia pilot group at Alive’s Dementia Friendly Allotment on 16th September 1.30pm-3.30pm. We hope this will be there first of many. Bookings are live now for the all events at the allotment – follow the link above.

There’s lots of plans for events and activities in our Young Onset Dementia working group. If you would like to join our group and help us create support and activity groups for people living with dementia and their carers, please email us on office@bdaa.org.uk and we’ll forward the zoom details – our next meeting is 16th September 7pm. Please do join our specific Young Onset Dementia: Denim Generation Facebook group for more information.
The next carers support meeting is on 25th August 7pm-8.30pm. We’re not sure if this is on zoom or in person yet but please contact office@bdaa.org.uk to register your interest. Here is a poster – please feel free to share it.

It’s our AGM on 23rd September – more details to follow in September. We are going to have a fundraising auction on the night – if anyone has any items you could offer us, please let us know on office@bdaa.org.uk.

Thank you to Westbury Baptist Church for donating £645 to Bristol Dementia Action Alliance as July “Charity of the Month”.
