Bristol Dementia Awards

We are delighted to launch the Bristol Dementia Awards 2026, an annual celebration of the people, businesses, and groups making a real difference to the lives of those affected by dementia across Bristol. 

This year’s awards feature a wide range of categories, recognising everything from dementia-friendly spaces and medical practices to volunteers, researchers, and community champions. We are especially proud to continue the Barbara Award, honouring the legacy of Barbara, who founded BDAA alongside her husband Tony. This special award celebrates the incredible contributions of schools and children/young people’s groups who are helping to shape a kinder, more dementia-friendly future.

Finalists will be invited to a special Awards Ceremony at the Aztec Hotel & Spa on Friday 9th October, where we will come together to applaud and recognise the outstanding individuals and teams who make Bristol such a caring and vibrant community.
